Random unblocking?

Hi, this app has been incredibly helpful to me so far in kicking my social media habits (it’s been almost 2 weeks and my social media usage is down exponentially). But the problem I’m having is sometimes the apps I’ve blocked will randomly unblock, and I find out when I start recieving notifications from them. I found out they will re-block if I open the dull app, which is good, but I really need them to just stay blocked all the time. I don’t want to be tempted to go doomscrolling when I see that they’re unblocked.
